Abigail's Birthday Celebration ~ April 26

On Thursday, April 26 Abigail will be celebrating her 3rd birthday and she is inviting everyone to share in the fun!
Joining us at 10:00 will be Animal Ambassadors. They will be letting the children hold a variety of small animals.
Lunch will be provided; pizza & ice-cream cake. We look forward to seeing you.

Community News! ~ Free bikes ~ March 24

 
Spring Baby Bike Giveaway @ Charlie's!!
Saturday March 24th, 11am-1pm

We will be giving away kids bikes too small for program use. Children accompanied by a parent/Guardian or older sibling will be given the chance to find a free bike that has been tuned up and safety checked.
The session will begin with bicycle safety information + guidelines for bicycle and helmet fit.
**Please note that we are unable to provide helmets which are mandatory for riders under 18 years of age.**
Bikes will then be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and will be matched according to size/fit. We cannot guarantee everyone will find a bike that fits their child.

Parents as Partners Conference on Saturday, April 28, 2018

   
Join us for the Parents as Partners Conference on Saturday, April 28, 2018! This conference is presented by the Parent Involvement Advisory Committee (PIAC), Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC), Mental Health and Well-Being Parent Partnership Committee and Model Schools for Inner Cities' Parent Academies and is an all-inclusive conference for TDSB parents and caregivers.
Registration opens March 1, 2018! Register early as there is limited space in each workshop!

Who:

  • ALL parents/guardians and caregivers of TDSB students are invited and welcome to attend.  

What:

  • Parents as Partners Conference 2018 is a FREE conference. Whether your child is just beginning on their educational journey in elementary school or closer to graduation and planning for the future, there are informative and empowering sessions for parents/guardians and caregivers of students of all ages and all stages of education.

  • The Parents as Partners Conference 2018 is planned by parents, for parents and we are so pleased to be able to offer a selection of sessions that cover a broad range of topics to provide parents with useful information and resources to help your child improve their achievement and well-being at school and at home.

Accessibility:

All seminar rooms are wheelchair accessible and reserved seating will be available.
Please identify yourself to conference staff for assistance in locating wheelchair accessible entrances and washrooms. Feel free to contact us in advance of your arrival if you have any concerns.

    THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO A RESPIRATORY OUTBREAT AT THE REKAI CENTRE!
     
     


    During the 2017/2018 school year the
    EarlyON Center 
    will be making monthly visits to 
    The Rekai Centre
    (345 Sherbourne St, Toronto)
     which is a multicultural downtown 
    senior’s center.

    We will be visiting on
    Tuesday, March 20
    Activity: Easter Bunny Visiting

    You can walk over with me at 9:35 
    or you can meet me at the Rekai Centre.
    The EarlyON Center will be closed while 
    we are visiting seniors.
